Stem Cell Stocks 5/3/09: The Week That Was

As expected, the stem cell stocks still did not move this week. A couple of stocks with connections to cancer or the flu moved early in the week, but gave up their gains. Look for there to be continued sporadic movement in the sector.

Top Stem Cell Stock Performer(s) for Last Week:
- Cryo-Cell International (CCEL) = Up 54% for the week; This stock stock has more than doubled in the last 2 1/2 weeks. The rise is began shortly after an earnings report that pointed to a bright future. Look for a pull back shortly.

- Stem Cell Therapy Intl (SCII) = Down -21% for the week on average volume; No significant news; not out of the ordinary for a penny stock
